Does Shaman Stone work with Glowing Womb?
So playing Hollow Knight, I've grown very fond of Shaman Stone and its empowering of spells. However I'm curious whether it works with Glowing Womb or the Glowing Womb/Defender's Crest combination. Can anyone confirm this for me please? I haven't been able to figure it out myself yet.

Glowing Womb doesn't work with Shaman Stone, as it only applies to actual spells and this is a passive ability instead. The Shaman Stone does work to great effect with Flukenest however.

Glowing Womb on its own will do 7 damage per fly, Glowing Womb + Defender's Crest will do 11 damage per fly with the toxic cloud.

A regular hit from the Channeled Nail does 13 damage, so Glowing Womb is not all that strong overall, however it is free passive damage if you often find yourself with extra soul for it.

I wish that it did. Even though they're not technically spells, the hatchlings do cost Soul.

As things currently stand, I'm forced to rank Glowing Womb as one of the worst Charms in the game. But it can be fun to use, especiallly when paired with the Defender's Crest, Grub Song and Dream Wielder.

Thanks. I actually didn't know about any of those numbers. Is there a thread or a sheet that details how much damage every attack does? :)

Here you go. Be wary that there will be slight spoilers if you scroll through the enemy health list, as all enemies and bosses are listed there. Damage values come first, though.

For toxic cloud attacks, the damage listed is if the enemy stays within the cloud for the full duration.

I have not personally tested the damage values written on the page, but it appears to be very accurate so I trust it enough that I have been using it for reference.
