Just lost 1500 of whatever the currency is
Just lost 1500 of whatever the currency is becasue this game is retarded .... I know its probably not alot but im early in the game I feel cheated beause I was unable to reach my soul (whatever it is)

I was in greenpath trying to cross the water by dashing then attacking downwards on those water bugs, then dashing again... some how i made it so far my soul decided to hover out of reach ...

Does anyone know a cheat to currency? I just wan to get back what I lost with out grinding ♥♥♥♥ enemies. thanks

What the hell? 1500 is literally nothing I have 42k currently and that's after buying every single thing. Who said anything about grinding enemies? Have never done that once.
don't i've rage quit numerous times, but thats what i love about it this game is enjoyable self harm.

If you've got a spare simple key, go unlock the door that's near Dirtmouth, the starting town.

Also, the soul shot thing you've got can hit the ghost so it'll aggro over to you. Also, that path you're trying to sword pogo on the water walking bugs, it actually is a dead end, though the top path that loops back top has a nice goodie, but it's not necessary.

Sword pogoing in general is really annoying early on, and there's a couple of charms you can get (one right now actually if you wanna fight a fairly annoying boss) that makes it a little more managable.

Also, don't go exploring if you've got that much change on you, go buy something from the charm shop or Sid's Store in Dirtmouth. If you do, be ready to accept that you might just lose all that cash.

Sounds like a buggy spot if the spirit is literally unreachable even with something like the ranged soul attack O_o but yeah like people have said, you'll eventually end up with way more geo than you'll be able to use haha, so don't worry too much about it, even if losing 1500 feels disastrous at the time. Highly recommend using the Swarm and Fragile Greed charms if you find them, if you want to get nice amounts of geo as you travel around.

How do you even have that much? My 100% playthrough ended up with maybe 8k left over.

I had a similar amount as him (also without grinding), but with about 35-38k left over XD My question is how you ended up with just 8k by the end of a 100%! I imagine you'd have to die twice in a row multiple times while lots of geo is on a spirit for that to be remotely possible (unless you looked up guides to head straight for everything). Personally I think that only happened to me once when I was being completely careless, though I think I only lost about 1k or so back then... which was a minor problem because it was shortly after I'd gotten my hands on two Fragile charms; after that loss was the only time I ever purposefully grinded solely for some geo, since I really wanted to repair them before moving on XD

Or maybe you just ignored 80% of dropped geo? That's a definite possibility too since it can be annoying chasing the stuff down when it bounces XD Swarm charm OP for gathering all dropped geo in a room though!

I lost my souls in the exact same spot as qwqwqwqwqwqwwqxxxxxx. I was hoping for a solution, but sadly, I just don't have the patience for that sort of grind. This is really a shame: the game was such a joy to explore.

Wait, so half a year later, wherever that spot is is still out of reach? That's unfortunate... But as a few of us mentioned in this thread, there's generally no grind needed in this game. Unless you have a bad habit of frequently dying twice in a row while you have lots of money on you, you'll probably have tons of it that you won't know what to do with. I haven't played since beating the game, so I dunno if the DLC adds more things to buy, but if not, you'll likely eventually have (possibly tens of) thousands of geo that you can't do anything with. And that's without grinding!

So, bottom line is, don't worry too much about grinding, haha. I recommend getting the two charms I mentioned if you want to get a lot of geo quickly though. Tougher enemies drop more as well, as you'd expect.

Now I kinda feel like playing again since it's been a while XD Maybe I'll do that some time soon!
