Bouncy Purple Musrooms in Fungal Wastes

No spoilers but am I missing something regarding how you interact with these to get over the wall? Or am I supposed to just come back to them later?

This eluded me for the longest time as well.

You have to do a downwards attack on them to bounce up. It becomes pretty annoying quickly listening to the BONG BONG BONG while trying to get somewhere

Uh, nice, just runned into this myself. Wasn't even aware of downwards attacks at all.

the mushrooms dont seem aware of them half the time either they are litteraly the worst designed jump pad ive ever seen used in any game ever

It is needed to get some other things as well. There are also some enemies and spikes that you have to use this attack on to get to certain objects.

Hmm... good to know. I except the entire time that i'll later goign to get a stomp attack or something like that, without thinking about the most obvious thing. Gonna try this in the beggining area, i think i missed something there...

If you were unaware, you should know there is an upwards attack too.

Thank you! I was stuck on this as well, the shrooms are obviously meant to let you jump higher, and i did somehow manage to do a high jump a few times, but was not sure what i did.
