Hollow Knight 1.0.3.4 live on Public Beta (PC Only). German, Spanish, Chinese, Korean available. New Chinese translation.

Hey Everyone,

Hollow Knight's latest patch is now available on the public beta branch for PC (we'll roll it out to OSX and Linux after some preliminary testing).

To access a beta branch, right-click on 'Hollow Knight' in your Steam library, click properties, select the 'Betas' tab, then select: public-beta-

This beta is primarily for testing the languages we've added: German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Korean. Note that after feedback from players, we have updated the Simplified Chinese translation with help from some very dedicated fans.

We'd love you to try the game in your native language and leave us some feedback in this thread. We're really excited about these translations and are looking forward to releasing them to all players as soon as possible!

May be it just me but I'm not entirely agree on "beautiful font". Sure, the main menu could use bolder font, but the text translation in my opinion is better in official one:

- consistent spacing and easy to read
- less unnecessary bold like in the title for Awoken Nail where unoff. one is TOO bold
- unof. translation also uses very small font (not everyone have great eyesight)

Hay un error en la traducción al español: Al llegar a la estación del rey, el título que aparece es "Estación de la Reina", en lugar de "Estación del rey". Esto es sólo al entrar, ya que en el mapa y a la hora de viajar con los ciervos aparece "Estación del Rey".
La verdad la traducción está bastante bien hecha y me gusta más que la no oficial (con todo el respeto hacia los fans), ¡gracias por hacerla! :D

There's a mistake in the spanish translation: When you arrive to king's station, the title that appears is "Estación de la Reina" (Queen's station) instead of "Estación del Rey" (King's station). This happens only when you get in the area, in the map and in the stagway map the name is correct.

I'm not satisfied at all with Korean translation. Unofficial korean translation already exist and it has really good quality and beautiful font. But, The translator ignored it. Now it has poor quality and unsuitable font.

저는 오히려 유저 번역에서 공식 번역이 더 마음에 들었습니다.
물론 불만사항이 새로 생긴것도 있고 유저 번역에서 계승된것도 있지만 퀄리티는 오류를 제외하곤 그렇게 나쁘지 않다고 생각합니다. 폰트쪽은 오히려 공식 번역이 더 어울린다고 생각합니다.

I think for them it just should be generic "..." except Shade - DN just kills it.
