Greyed areas on map
Hello,
I can see on my map some parts who are not bright as the others. Is it trying to tell me that i didn't find some secrets ?
Thanks

Think that's just the background color of the parts of that particular area. A screenie would help.

Are the outlines not connected? If not, then it's an unexplored part of that area. Also, if it's a different area (whole new part. For example first area is dark and the next is lighter) it could be just the background color of the area like HighLanderPony said.

When you first buy a map, Cornifer has usually been to some areas you haven't yet. They look different on the map to show they exist, but you haven't been there yet.

The mechanics are:

Buy a map (initial one is 30 coins)

You then have to buy a quill from the shop up top (100 coins) and then your map only gets updated when you save / sit on a bench < super important bit.

It's a bit vague and I can see how people get confused, but over-all the map was a pleasent surprise (given I'd read reviews stating that there were no maps etc - simply not true).

Unexplored area will be outlined.
Explored area will be greyed out.
Undiscovered area won't appear on the map until you explore them.

There's nothing to do with finding a secrets or not.
