I can't even remember what boss that was. Is it the Soul Warrior guy? Just jump over him when he dashes and dash away when he does the drop down attack. It's that easy. How upgraded is your nail?

the problem is him alone is not hard, but every 5 seconds or so a little floaty guy spawns.

i just went and upgraded my nail with one pale ore

You mean the broken vessel? Or the lost kin? Its not easy but with spore shroom charm and quick focus youll focus faster and kill those minions when you finish, it also deals damage to the boss if he comes near you.

Also you can use fragile strength or fragile health (i cant remember the exact name) to deal more damage or to survive till you stun him, then you can heal.

With those charms you will be ok, also check if you nail is upgraded (ive beaten him with the second upgrade but by this level you can attain the third.)

Besides of that its just skill and knowing its moves

I just beat that guy pretty easily. Forget about healing, most of the time he'll attack you too fast for you to heal. Instead, get Joni's Blessing and something useful (I always go for Dashmaster or Longnail). Concentrate on avoiding his attacks and use all the soul you get to shoot shades at him. You'll have much more health to tank him and you'll have one less thing to worry about, since you won't be able to heal.

If you upgraded your nail to one pale ore, you should be able to OHKO the floaty monsters (regrets, I think they're called?).

Do you have the shade dash upgrade? I found him pretty easy to beat with that.

If you have enough charm slots, equip shaman stone and use vengeful spirit constantly until he dies
If you can 1hko the floating things with one nail strike that can help greatly. Have steady body equipped, in my experience that means you can strike faster in different directions. If not, try equipping defender's crest.

I constantly complained about the difficulty of this game... until I finally got this skill. We needed i-frames from the beginning! (well, if easy mode ever happens anyway)

Honestly...I thought he was hard around 1:30 am but when I woke up I flayed him alive quite easily without shade dash yet either. Now that one boss in crystal peak....gonna need shade dash and all life upgrades for that ***wipe.

Well this guy can do two points of damage per hit...which is a bit of a nuiscance in comparison to every other boss I've faced thus far.

Stuck on this guy too
Its not so much the fight as it is running all the way back every single time
What do you even get for beating it?

Jump when he lasers.

That's it. That's the entire boss. He shouldn't even hit you.

An improved Vengeful Spirit. It's quite good.

There's a breakable wall between the room with the bench in it and the elevator shaft that goes up to the room with the mini-boss in it. You might have to break it from inside the elevator shaft, I don't remember.
