Most hated - giant fleas.
Most Hated: The Giant Guard mofos, who hit for heavy damage and are hard to reliably damage earlier on.
It don't help either that they also do heavy damage (Aka, 2 masks)
Yeah, they were annoying too, the diffrence (for me at the least) was that they were ONLY in the royal waterways, nowhere else and they weren't that hard to avoid or dodge, aswell as they were rather easy to predict :)
I rather find the walking Traitor mantises to be worse. They have more health and have less "oppertunities" for attacks. (since the flying ones, if you dodge their scythes, are defencless untill they can cast again) :)
I haven't really had any problem with those myself. I mean yeah the first few times was it a bit hard to dodge them, but by now have I learned the timing and can just walk calmly and as they come charging I can "dispatch" their bush cover without stopping :)
and the giant fleas? ehm, can't pick out which you mean.
Heh, yeah the Primal Asspids are a pain in the ass.
and, I assume you mean the ones in the City of tears, the ones with the shields. Yeah, they are tricky. IN my personal oppinon wouldn't I say they are the worst however, as you can basicly jump over them (and bounce on their shield with your nail) and ignore them since they don't follow you.
Heavy Guards are only safe to attack if they swang at you twice, if it was only once, they could follow up with another.
Also the massive sword and shield bugs. Not too dangerous but they block a lot, do two points of damage, and are not worth the time. The easiest way for me to kill 'em is jump, dash, strike down, get blocked, strike down again, then dash away. Repeat.
For most dangerous I really hate the knights that teleport and shoot magic in the coliseum.
The heavy guards are really an annoyance, however quite easy to ignore if you need to pass trough an area. :) Just jump and bounce on their shield then dash and then move on.
the stalkers are in my honest oppinon more annoying by comparison since they often inhabit areas where you can't get around them, (unless you have the shadow dash) and have to fight the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, which often require ALOT of timing and reflexes.
And regarding those "soul knights" (that is what I call them anyway).
Yeah, they are an annoynace, you need to constantly move and dodge, striking when you get the time but always being aware of the soul blasts.
The best way is simply to just clear out any other ennemy in the room first (if there is one) and then prepare to be moving constantly, once again shadow dash there is really usefull.
The adorable little screaming bats that hang off the ceiling and then hurl themselves at you are also a pain in the asspid -- they stop being a threat once you memorize their locations or learn to listen VERY carefully in certain areas, but they're still a PAIN.
The mushrooms that send out the drifting explosives are also irritating, but they're rare enough that they're only really a problem if I'm out of SOUL when I get near them.
The bats however (in my oppinon) is much simpler to avoid, since they give a clear shriek before diving towards you and their movement is so limited that you can avoid them by simply just jumping straight up
