False Champion
Seriously what is happening. Is it even possible? Stuck at false champion, cant dodge meteorites. How can i tell when he is jumping or atacking?! This is ridiculous.

You can do that?! Knowing that would have made that fight ten times easier!

Basically all you want to do is either be far away from him to give yourself room to breathe, in which case he will eitherr ground slam, and you jump over the shockwave, or he will come towards you. If he comes towards you, move towards him. He will then jump, and you have to be ready to either walk dash under / behind him or back off. if he jumps foward / over you, he will smash aany rocks falling behind him, which will leave you spaace to get hits on him. Basically just repeat this process and hope rng rocks don't trap you / force you into a bad dash, or that stutter ♥♥♥♥♥ you.

I personally found both Lost Kin and False Champion to be relatively easy to deal with once I had nail upgrades and charms in late-game. Lost Kin was the easiest for me, since I didn't really need to do much dodging, while False Champion needed a bit more finesse.

Even then, I found False Champion's moves to be reasonably dodgeable as long as you react quick and aren't afraid to dodge under him. I'd argue that it is not harder than many Dark Souls bosses (never played DS myself, but talked to someone who played both and I've seen a bunch of first playthroughs of both Hollow Knight and DS). But neither Lost Kin nor False Champion took more than 5 tries for me, if I remember my first playthrough correctly.

Facetank him with Pure Nail and Fragile Strength, some health charm, and Quick Slash.

You're probably thinking of False Knight. False Champion is the harder version of the boss that you can find later in the game.

Have not tried to zerg this boss like mentioned on page 2 yet, but for normal fight this boss seems too random. His patterns are easy to predict, but the way he uses them is the worst. Here are few examples:
- he jumps backward to launch a wave at me, I jump over it, he instantly jump attacks me mid air
- he jumps forward, I duck under him, he instantly launches wave attack without back jump (and hits me with the mace as I'm still close to him)
This and many other "combos" that cannot be dodged once started.
So I wonder, maybe I am missing something? Some crucial spells or skills?
Should I hit him while his face is out or is it time window for me to heal?

no kidding

You know what? This boss is actually easy. It was not 1st try and not even 10th when I won, but I figured a crucial thing for this fight. It is finding safe spot and sticking to it as long as possible.
Tho random surely takes place in this fight.
