The parry mechanic hurts more than helps
I don't understand why the devs implemented this mechanic at all, yeah, sure it has a use of nullifying said attack if you are lucky enough to hit it but, it's wasted because when you do parry an enemies attack it pauses the game ALMOST akin to the stuttering, eats your inputs and all you let you see that you just hit the enemies swing! Meanwhile, most enemies with parryable attacks have either multiple swings or cover good distances with their attacks AND multiple strikes.

This means you are either going to get hit anyway either from getting bodied or hit by the next strike, I know I get hit because of the parry attack a lot on the guards in the city of tears, the big guys with the sword/shield outside the station, when I bait the front attack and jump on them a LOT of times my attack will strike the end swing of their attack and trigger the parry, leaving me dangling in the air with my attack inputs being devoured because of it meaning I am about to take damage that could have been avoided if this system didn't exist or didn't pause the damn gameplay for annoying reasons.

The parry seems even more pointless because enemies don't even flinch or recoil from it opening them up for a free hit for timing a parry.
