you could also clean the route before you start the quest, like kill every enemy, then run to mourner, and you will have very few enemies in your way, only those who respawns regardless. dont sit on a bench btw.

just do it legit, its not that hard. if you REALLY INSIST on "scumming", you could just rest at the nearest bench to the goal, go get the flower and save & exit, then load your save and youre at the nearest bench with the flower. BUT dont do it, just play as it was intended.

Someone mentioned on the forum that they tried this and it didn't work.

I found that closing the game to reload didn't work either -- maybe it did once? I copied the save file so that I could paste it back if need be, but I ended up getting it on the first try anyway. It was easy enough without any tricks (just shot everything with spells from a safe distance), and the hardest part was probably not screwing up the spike jumps right at the end. If I'd realized I could clear out all the enemies in advance, it would have been even easier.

It used to work on very early versions of the game, but for a long time now, it has been that once you start the quest your last used bench is set to the one right outside. So you cannot save and quit to shortcut the quest anymore.

Of course, this is quite an old topic anyways. The last post was over five months ago, before it was bumped. I mean no offense in saying this, but I'm not sure why one would need to reply to a five month old topic with a video, instead of saving it for next time it comes up, or possibly making a new topic instead to suggest the route.

Easiest way to do it - is to start at the grave - go to grey mourner - get the flower - return the way you came without using a Bench.
