I have the slam, Where do I go?

I beat the Soul boss at the City of Tears and got the slam. I've been going here and there finding a few secrets and things but no new areas. Where do I need to apply this slam to find a new area? This game needs objective markers badly. They don't make em' like they used to for a reason.

You remember how when you were exploring Forgotten Crossroads, like a good little boy, there was a mine area that had a shaky floor?

Go there.

You've got options:

1) crystal peak (assuming you didn't take the lantern path already. And if you did, there's some other stuff you can get with the slam around there)

2) The royal waterway (slam needed to get through to the bench of the area)

3) Go fight the mantis lords for access to Deepnest (you could've done this earlier, without the slam, but it's still an option, yo)
