Some of this game's bosses are pretty hard, but I haven't yet encountered one I can't beat through persistence and learning how they telegraph different attacks. :)
You probably don't have tons of charms yet, but redoing your charms for bosses helps sometimes too.
You don't need stuff like the compass or gathering swarm if you're fighting a boss you're having trouble with, for example.
Try to guess which attacks she can do based on her position so you can position yourself adequatly.
Bonus tip: Listen to her telegraphs. She was two words in combat. One word means it's a physical needle attack, either the dash or the jump dash. The other word means it's a thread attack (ranged), which is either the AOE or thrown needle one. Her ranged attacks are her weakness since you can stay far away from her and not get hit by them while her melee attacks try to get closer to you.
Keep her at maximum range at all times and only hit her when she dashes near you.
- when she throws her lance it bounces back to her once it reached max range. First jump towards her when she throws and jump away from her during the rebound. Unless you are close I would suggest not attacking at this time.
- A couple of her attacks start with a jump. She jumps and dashes to your location with an attack or she does a string shield kinda attack. Main time to attack are when she jump dash attacks your location. Jump to avoid and put in a couple of attacks.
- Best strat to heal is to move to one corner have her use her jump dash attack. Jump avoid and quikly run to the other end. If she starts her lance throw, start healing, at that range it will not hit you.
stop reviving dead threads
Using your Nail to bounce on things will soon become an integral part of both combat and platforming.
I know this is a dead thread, but since you insist on bringing it back from the dead, it might as well have some useful information for people that view this thread.
And she will teach you how to git gud at end game
