Graphic issue on 4k

So i am using a 4k tv to play the game and it will not output to anything above 720p. But on the laptop it runs 1080p perfectly fine. I know for a fact its not because my laptop is not powerful enough it runs Witcher 3 at 4k 60fps.

Any sugestions?!

im having the same issue, it'll only stay on 1080p even though i change it to 4k resolution and click apply and keep resolution. Did you ever find a fix?

Glad to hear that I'm not alone with this issue. How do I fix this?

It's a metroidvania game with a fixed ratio and resolution. You cannot get it to play at 4K.

I guess I could live with that, question is though why the option for 4K resolution is there at all? If it's not supported it would be better to simply not have it there?

Right-click on hollow_knight.exe and Disable DPI scaling.

try launching in fullscreen exclusive mode. Google it

huh, and you can rum it in 4l it has a 4k option, otherwise i wouldent, also it goes to 720p not even 1080. ill look up fullscreen exclusive, tbh havent played in months cause of it.
