Lifeblood Core extended

[Getting high professionally]

So I got into the lifeblood core room and did the jump puzzle but noticed there were other paths I could've explored but once I got the charm it kicked me out and you can't get back in.

-Does anyone know what's down the fork to the left immediately before the core?

-What about what's after the core? Is it a dead end or does it keep going?

Worst case, I'll find out next play through.

I know this is an old thread, but on the chance I can help any one in my position.

Go to https://bloodorca.github.io/hollow/
Open your save file at \AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight | user[1-4].dat
(Remember to make a back up just in case!)
Find "blueVineDoor" and change its value to false.
Find "charmsOwned" and reduce its value by 1. (EX: change 40 to 39)
Find "gotCharm_9" and change its value to false.
Then download your edited save file and replace your original save.

This will remove the Lifeblood Core charm from your inventory, and reactivate the door, allowing you to enter and reacquire the charm and get the egg as if it was your first time in there.

I died in that room, then picked up the charm, and got kicked out with my shade trapped inside! Luckily I was able to see Jiji in Dirtmouth to get my geo back

Don't worry. You still get achievements with that.

Another way is to install the benchwarp mod.
Install it via the Scarab mod manager: https://github.com/fifty-six/Scarab/releases (just extract anywhere and run the exe. it will autop detect your hollow knight install location and set everything up, then install and activate benchwarp)
Then when ingame open the pause menue where you will have a lot of additional buttons.
Top right click settings and select doorwarp then you will have a menu to warp to arbitrary rome transitions. You need to go to abyss -> abyss_8 -> right_1
Complete the jump puzzle, collect the acrane egg and either warp out again using the mod or restart the game which should bring you back to the last bench you rested.
after that you can uninstall the mod again.
Archivments should be unaffected by this? I higly doubt that the game has a mod detechtion machanism in place considering that mods where never intendet by the developer.
Well i will see if i still get archivments, if anyone wanna know you can bump this toppic in a week or so then i can tell ^^
edit there is also a breakable door in the room for the ocd completionists like me, so don't warp out imediatly but first try to reach the lifeblood core location frist ;)
