Crystallized mound?

I've got to Crystallized Mound, and after several frustrating attempts got to seemingly last location here. But there was only grub. But according to several sources, here should be upgrade for Desolate Dive skill. So, what am I missing? Is there some another jumo around?

just keep jumping around until you find it, you get the upgrade after you destroy a shaman in a crystal

There was nowhere to jump once I've found grub. The only alternate way I've seen was small cavern with Soul statue.

You have to go down a bit and to the left from the grub. You will have the ability to jump onto a platform and wall jump up towards the left.
