Shaking floor?

Sometimes when I walk over some areas the ground starts shaking.

How do I get past these? I feel like I can break them with something.

You need a specific upgrade from beating a certain boss. Just keep exploring.

Just keep exploring the game until you get specific upgrades. Then come back to the spots that were inaccessible to you before and try them.

You'll have a boss fight that he does a thing that you learn after you kill him. The area after uses the thing a lot to teach you about it.

Make sure to mark those shaky floors on the map when you find them. It's easy to forget where they were when you have to backtrack with the ground-pound power.
