Stuck in the Ancient Basin

I havn't had crystal heart.Can't jump enough high to get in the boss room.

And I have already activated the save point nearby.

Now I can't get back with the way I came in.When I died,just respawned in the save point nearby.

So,I'm just stuck in this place?

you should be able to walljump your way out if you don't have the super-dash to get over to the boss area.

Could you tell me where I should go? There're too many spikes in the wall where I got here through.

I had the same problem. You have to jump at just the right spot to get out. I've done it earlier and know it is possible just very precise.

Yep got stuck there just now after the dung defender boss fight. Made it all the way to the ancient basin bench and then had to play hell platforming out of there. That on par with Dark Souls when it come to punishing new players for exploring new areas....

I actually got stuck temporary in an area, where you find the giant geo stone. I couldn't jump high enough to get access to the wall, in order to walljump the hell out of it.
After many tries, I've succeeded by attacking the two little flies next to the wall, while being in the air, to gain height.

But i'm pretty sure it was meant to be accessible only when you have the double jump.

I could also die and respawn above, but I didn't wanna lose all my geos I got from this lol.

This exact thing happened to me too. I had to go back and enter the cave to the big geo ball to respawn the bees because I didn't manage the tricky slash boost on the bees the first time. A slight lowering of the ledge by the two bees would fix this issue.

For those stuck here, just jump to the right wall, jump up and still going right and do a down slash on the spikes. It'll propel you up to the other walls.

No down-slash is necessary there, you can just wall jump past that gap if you space your jumps right.

Your downward slash collision box is wider than your character hit box, so you can stand virtually beside some spikes and downward slash to hit them to rebound off of them without issue.

However in the spot Kyou indicated you don't need to do that nor double jump. To maximize your height from a wall jump don't hold across against the wall you jumped from, the entire time you're jumping.

That spot is pretty annoying. If you don't hold right while jumping off the right wall, you walljump into the spikes on the upper left. I did that like three or four times in a row before I finally got that jump right...

This game is so half-good. Half of it is fun and beautiful, half is 5 minutes of the most tedious platform jumping, and coping with the laggy-whatever-you-do controls for a perfect ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wall jump so you can leave an area you wish you hadn't visited. Then you die because it's too hard, so repeat.

Thanks for the down-attack tip above, this will be the only way I get out of this area ffs.

So glad I threw my 2000 geo into that fountain before trying this nonsense. Couldn't even get back to my ghost.
