Any good charms for dealing with Soul Master?
I'm putting Soul Master on hold for now while I get more power elsewhere to make him less of a pain. Currently the fight lasts way too long and involves more avoidance of projectiles than I'd like. But if there were some anti-projectile charm or something....

Any good charms to use against this boss? Till the optimization happens, he's quite annoying.

He's the first really hard boss in the game. Just notice his patterns. That's all it comes down to. When he spawns for orbs around him, jump within and attack up. This is your best time to get hits in. Took me many, many tries, but I eventually got him. Worst part is the annoying walk back to the arena.

Yeah that's probably not going to happen with my current gear. I managed to get past stage 1 only yet I know he has four stages.

Yea I just beat him yesterday. He has 2 phases

I used:

1. Longnail (I thought this useless before but one of the best charms, almost permanent for me.)
2. Dash Master (He has more quick attacks in phase 2 and this will come as a life saver.)
3. Any Soul Boosting Charm that increases soul per hit. (you need to find time to heal in between)

Good Luck!

I beat him when I have first nail upgrade and a charm that gives you sheild when focusing.

His single projectile, including the phase 2 one, is easy to dodge. You stand still in front of him(or the portal he makes), once he shoots the projectile, DASH to him and hit. In this way the prolectile will hit the ground then vanish.

The four projectiles attack which I never know how to dodge is the time using that charm ability.

Good luck!

Dashmaster + long nail or Mark of a Pride is enough.

Top of greenpath ,there's a room has no map. In the room there's a big chest, jump inside the chest and keep going then you will find it.

the baldur shell is good for healing while he is lobbing the energy balls at you.

Baldur's Shell actually doesn't allow you to heal under damage, it merely prevents you from taking damage if you heal at a bad time. Which seems to be all the time.

I went with Dashmaster, Soul Catcher and Quick Focus. Soul Catcher (Soul Eater works probably, too, but it takes 4 slots ) + Quick Focus seems to be a pretty ok combo for bosses in general.

phase1: always stay under him and do the attack . 50% of time he cant hit you. if he not flying, stand near and attack him. just beware his rolling lights and charging
phase2: keep dashing until he stop the top down attack, then u can attack him

The problem with that approach is his attacks are quite quick. Being too close to him grants even less time to react. Some of his attacks need to be jumped, others jumping will get you killed. So if he's about to attack you have to identify whether it's one that needs to be jumped in a split second.

well my charm. baldur shell. soul catcher. long nail, thorns of agony.
my strategic is stick near to him because when he casting the lightballs there is a gap between his arm where he cant hit u
quick dash and follow him where he flying. when u want to heal, stay under him, only the four rolling lightballs will hit u but baldur shell will help u block the attack,
stay low and dash fast, dont jump too much

Okay I beat the Soul Master but the Soul Tyrant is even worse. There's no time to dodge or heal any of his stuff. It's just normal Soul Master's attacks umped up to 11.
