Stuck at Temple of the Black Egg? [SPOILER]

So I dont know where to go next? I met Hornet at that statue of Hollow Knight at City of Tears.

After the cutscene she tells me to find the "history" of Hallownest and to know the truth.

Then The Temple of the Black Egg gets marked in my map with a black evil looking head.

I went back to temple at Crossroads... but there is nothing???

What to do now????

Branch out to other routes. The Temple of the Black Egg is seeming to be one of the later areas in the game based on what I'm seeing so far.

I got stuck here as well, but for a different reason. When I tried to get back the door that was opened with the seal of the city is locked again. Is this supposed to be?

yea you have to go up and find a Stagway. Remember the main elevator that got you down to City of Tears? Well while that elvator is coming down there are platforms midway jump onto that.

Go get the Dream Nail, do what they tell you and only then you can go into the temple to fight *REDACTED*

You need to go to a specific place located somewhere around crystal peak to get a special weapon and beat the three dream bosses: the teacher, the watcher and the beast i at some specific locations, then head to the black egg temple .
