What's the charm menu button?

I just bought the compas and got the tutorial prompt telling me to equip it but even when I sat at the iron bench when it told me to press something there was no button following "Press" I tried every button on my controller and even went to look in options. Only thing I saw there would be the back/select button which is set to inventory but I couldn't do it with that either. I don't seem to have an inventory yet.

I think the charm menu is supposed to be tied to the inventory menu, like their set up as tabs along with the hunters journal. There should be one button that does it all

I have a button for inventory but when I press it nothing happens

Game says that on controller inventory button is set to select, but it doesnt work for me either, so just use "I" button on your keyboard, not like u need to use inventory in a middle of a fight or in dangerous situations where u need to do everything very fast
