If you like Warrior, Greatsword MAX is a lot of fun. The dinput8 tool is fun to play around with as well, you can permanently enable 3rd level skills, change how powerful augments are, change stats on the fly, remove restrictions based on class, and much more. I have a few mods I've made myself as well. I've been modding the game for a while, so I know my way around this sort of thing. Let me know if you need any help! We can also chat more directly on discord if you have one.

The Greatsword mod is fun for a while but besides being OP(this is DD we're talking about tho), it's still kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to play with its 3 skill slots. Dinput8 lets you change skills on the fly but it's a hassle(buggy and awkward), especially since the only reason to change skills is for fun, not necessity. The shield skills just don't fit to me either.
Maybe do a solo BBI run with it. Could be fun.

Anyway the mods I used are Dinput8, Magick Shield's SKills EX so MK doesn't waste so many slots for elements, Megahair and beards 2k, Don't blind me, HD HP - Custom GUI, Cleaner Female Body Texture(including men), and Easy clothing inventory ID. There's also the vignette remover but I remember crashing when I used it. Maybe that was a one-off or I botched something tho. Reshade let met adjust things to make the vignette unnoticeable anyway.

There's one that I'm not willing to replay without right now though... World Difficulty. Makes the game more interesting outside of BBI.
I can't recommend it. At least not the current regular way of getting it. It's apparently a charity for a friend... A mod for this niche game. Every time the author claims real life difficulties, it's taken down from nexus(like it has been for a while now). You go to their Discord and you're subject to their drama unless you well and truly don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about your mod's source, disable all pings, and ignore announcements. Say anything like this and I bet you get more drama. Plus the link to their Discord on Nexus is either broken or I got banned for leaving the server when I took a break from DD.
Man I wish there was an alternative. Closest is the Bitterblack randomizer that looks neat.
