i copied directly from my xbox , by any chance , do you know what tool or program i can use to convert the file ?
Thanks for answering
"You need to use a program for unpacking PIRS (xbox specific container file format) files. I use a program called wxpirs for doing it. If you unpack it you'll get the real savegame file, and that's what you'll use with my save tool."
'DDAsavetool.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file." can u help me bro.
Can you use it to convert to XML at all? If not, then it sounds like it might be a lot work. If you can convert it to XML, then you might be able to manually edit the XML file and, convert it back to binary.
If I recall, all you need to add is a line with Steam id. I don't remember what it should look like, but you can look at a PC savegame for reference.
You asked elsewhere if the source code is available, and it's downloadable here: https://fluffyquack.com/tools/source/DDsavetool.rar
