quest reward issue

I killed the Griffon for the quest "Griffins Bane" and did "Supply and Demands". The later being relevant I guess...
Anyways, I didn't get the key for the supply room :( even after telling the guard " 7 days".
Handed in...no key.
I don't get it.

Did you also give him the meat?

You only get the key from the quest if you tell Julien, otherwise, you've got to feed the quest giver foreign knives until he really likes you, and then he'll give you the key, regardless of the quest.

You talked to the wrong guy. If you wanted the key, you had to talk to the blonde with the funky accent in the weird armor.

You get the quest from Ser Daerio, then go to Gran Soren and talk to Julien to get 5 Ambrosial meat, then take the meat to Ser Daerio. After that you get the key.

If the Arisen spoke to Lord Julien directly and correctly requested a week's worth of supplies, handing over the Ambrosial Meat will cause Ser Daerio to offer the Windbluff Tower Key, which gives access to a locked room and treasure chests in the tower.

Both Julian and a different guard show up circled for quest markers when you go to the Gran Soren Duke's Demense.

Well this game doesn't hold your hand, my first playthrough on 360 I missed tons of stuff, but I was used to the games that don't spoonfeed you.

I'm not asking to be spoon fed. There is no way you could do this quest but by pure accident and end up with the key without Googling it which you shouldnt have to do.
Quests should be clear and concise.

Anyways, I got the key by giving him foreign knives. Yet another thing you would have no way of knowing without Googling.

But I want OTHER people to know that you're used to games just handing things to you. Just because you unsubscribe from a thread doesn't mean others can't read it and, ehem, know how asinine your posts are.

I also did not get the key. I spoke to Ser Julian, said a weeks supply. He then gave a speach and 5 ambrosia meats. I then spoke to the guard and also said a week (1st playthough i did not speak to the guard and did not get the key), looked online and a suggestion was to speak to teh guard AFTER speakign to Ser Julian.
However it is teh same outcome, quest complete after handing over the 5 meats but no key

You may be just a hair under his affinity level, to get the key (yes...even with giving the ambrosial meat). This has happened to me before as well. All I did was give him a gift. Hell, I even forgot about the corp men loving those foreign knives, and just gave him a Harspud Sauce. That was enough to put me over the invisible affinity number, and when I clicked on him again, I got the key. Give it a try. ;)
