One of the shards spawns in an inaccessible tree.
Don't go in without a regular bow. As a melee or mage, you're pretty much screwed.

- Ranged pawns don't work. They deal 0 damage even though it's physical damage as requested.
- thrown items don't have range, can't be aimed, they're useless in every way.
- climbing the golem doesn't work because the uncontrollable camera sucks.
- can't climb the tree as you would large enemies, which is silly.
- some spells supposedly do work: High Maelstrom, High Gicel and High Bolide for the disc. HIgh Exequy for the golem itself. Good luck chanting for about 2 minutes without interruption.
- The cheat arrow Maker's Finger supposedly works fine, but you need the regular shortbow for some reason. Don't know, don't bother asking.

So yeah, it's a game mechanic made dumb by technical limitations. Good luck.

- Ranged Pawns totally work. Provided their kit is not garbage (M. Golem has 260 DEF so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ skills like Tenfold Flurry and Downpour Volley may be a recipe for disaster, emphasis on may). The major issue is to make Pawns aim the disk - keep demonstrating to Pawns how you attack the nearby disks til they get it. Or simply hire knowledgeable Paws, duh. Then just hit the hanging disk and ask for Help!.
- thrown items have range. Knives, rocks, even throwblasts can hit said disk.

- H. Maelstrom has no physical component. You can use it to displace the disk but that's it. Though you could drag the disk to you with Maelstrom and use H. Exequy on the disk. Good idea?
- Gicel deals laughable damage, better make a tea. High Boide isn't better, aiming issues.
- Question. Why would you specifically bet on Maker's Finger ...WHEN YOU ALREADY HAVE THE BOW?!
