"Press Start" menu displaying old-styled color test pattern.

I have been playing this on my Steam Deck for the last two weeks, and the game ran perfectly, but today, when I stated the game, it crashed twice on launch. So I rebooted my Deck and the game launched, but the "Press Start" menu is not showing the opening with the dragon, but the "color test" pattern seen on old color TVs. What the heck?

I loaded my savegame and it works fine. It's just the menu's opening that isn't working.

Same issue on the deck, also occurs a in a few videos after you beat the dragon.
Issue seems to be related to windows media foundation codec stuff (mfplat), going by my limited knowledge, replacing videos it cant play for some reason with a "tv test" image, probably so the games dont crash.
Other than that the game runs fine and well though.
