DDDA has stopped working error on startup

I have tried multiple things

>messing with config file
>running in compatibility mode win 8 &7
>giving DDDA admin privileges
>running compatibility troubleshooter

this seems to be the only lead, it says that C:\WINDOWS\system32\nativePC\usershader\BbsShaderPackage.mfx 3
failed to open, upon investigating, a nativePC subfolder did not exist, so I made one.
Also made usershader folder and copied in BbsShaderpackage.mfx 3 from nativePC folder in actual game folder.

Still didn't work, I am at a loss.
