This is from the store page. That said try opening the config.ini file and change the jobthread number to 1 higher or lower number. Example = JOBTHREAD 3 change to 4 or 2. Also in the Nvidia control panel under 3D settings you can add the game in the Program Settings and tweak things like power management and texture filtering so it doesn't use as much resources. Remeber though if you tweak the global settings it changes the settings for all apps and programs so thats why you add it to the programs list.
Hope this helps because heat is bad for your hardware.
I've already set JOBTHREAD to 1 through the ini file, also I did make sure that the power option was balanced with the Nvidia, but still the game is running quite hot and my GPU is always under 40%. This is quite weird.
ViewRange=FARTHEST
DofFilter=ON
My GPU is used at 99% all the time and I keep the t ° at 64 ° with the settings of the fan by MSI Afterburner. I do not like that too much.
I have a gforce GTX 970 perfect for recent games with better graphics. I also think that the game is not suitable for win 10.
I've first tried to set an launching option to force the refresh rate at 60, seemed that it did little improvment, then I've limited the framerate at 60 with Nvidia Inspector and now the game seems to quite fine without heating my GPU. I'll keep an eye if anything changes.
