Can't Find friends Pawn, please help!

Hey, so I've tried looking this up, but I cant find an answer that applies/works.

So, my and my friend are both set to online, we have slept in an inn, both in the Rift, my friend can see, and summon my Pawn, but I cannot see his, in my friends list, Pawns your Pawn knows, or when I search for his Pawn by level.

any idea on what I can do to find his pawn so I can summon it?

Has your friend rented your pawn? Just summoning a pawn may not be enough it to show up on the "pawns your main pawns knows" list. Sometimes it takes a while for someone to show up on my friends list. Be sure when you attempt to summon your friends pawn you check off on it's vocation related skills, level and gender and nothing else. Fighters (for example) check the box for close combat, male, lvl # and nothing else. For magic casters check those for the skills he's put on his pawn (fire, ice etc..). It can be a huge pain in the butt trying to find a pawn in the rift by level.

Idk, maybe you friend's Pawn was banned?
Friends filter isn't very reliable, eg of all my Friends Pawns I have maybe 40% in the Friends filter. The rest I had to find and add to Favorites.

Ask your pal to hire your Pawn, release it and then rest online (with the Main Pawn alive, 'tis important!). After that his Pawn will be visible in Pawns your main pawn knows filter.

so, reply is to both of you, since you both mentioned it, and it was something I forgot to mention in my original post. He did summon my pawn, then went to an inn, slept, desummoned my pawn, then slept again, and when I try to search for pawns my pawn knows, it says cant retrieve information.
