DDDA No sound at all.

I'm getting no sound at all from DDDA. Everything works but a couple of games on my steam. DDDA is one of them. There were a few times where the intro would play but after a while, it stops playing.. Any ideas?? It's definitely not a computer issue. I can watch youtube and listen to music just fine..

Goto the game folder to find the CommonRedist folder and re-run the DX installer.

I've done that twice and still no sound. I also downloaded the game again. Still nothing.

Try switching to another audio device if possible. I use Nvidia's HDMI audio through my TV and it works fine, but there have been many with this issue and it's never been fixed because I guess they see it as hardware compatiblity issues instead of there software.
Some have low sound and others no sound but the big issue is the surround sound for this game I think working correct with some hardware.
On person found that when they tabbed out of the game it was switching there audio to another device so thats why if you can try your HDMI and headphones/pc speakers in both front and rear audio ports.

Now, as you say you still can hear sound, elsewhere, just not in few games not. This brings me to the conclusion it may not be related to your config, but still it'd be good to know the config of your PC (operating system, graphics etc).

Also: you say "a couple of games". What games?

My sound worked fine yesterday beat bb isle now it doesn't work
