Crashing and no audio when sharing my screen through Discord

When I stream Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen through Discord's screen sharing, my recipients don't get audio from the game, even though audio from other games works fine. In addition, DDDA will eventually crash after about an hour and a half of play, usually with a nondescript Windows error message or a silent crash. If a nondescript error message appears, if I minimize it, I can continue playing another 5-10 minutes before a silent crash occurs - usually long enough to successfully save.

This crash doesn't occur unless I'm streaming via Discord. No other background programs seem to be causing the issue, even ones that are much more system intensive. Haven't attempted to use other streaming methods yet.

Sorry I never have used Discord's screen sharing but will ask if it uses Steam in any way other than running the game to do so. If not try doing the stream with out Steam running in the background just launch the game direct through the DDDA.exe. This way you can find out if its a problem caused by Steam.
