Found this link in another post. If this doesn't help search in general discussions WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER to see all the post on this topic.
OK just found this in going through search myself. Hope it helps.
When installing the Media Feature Pack you need to ensure you are installing the latest one available for your exact version of Windows 10. I installed an outdated one by mistake which lead to the game failing to start up with an error dialog saying "The latest version of windows media player could not be found", and a couple of stressful evenings spent Googling the issue and trying to install various other versions of the Media Feature Pack with no success.
To find out what your version of Windows 10 is go in your Windows 10 "Settings" -> "System" -> "About". Take note of the number under "Version". Then look up the Windows 10 Media Feature Pack for that exact version number and edition (N, KN etc).
For example, my Windows 10 turned out to be edition N version 1703, for which the only correct Media pack to install (as of June 2017) is KB3133719, not KB3010081.
I could finally play the game after taking the time to lookup the correct version, and I hope others find my experience useful.
THANK YOU! Best answer and help I found! Got it working now! Haven't played since 360 days!
