Button Guide Not Showing?

I'm using a controller, which I have finally gotten working correctly, however no matter what I do the button guide in the lower right corner that shows on the PS3 (for skills etc) does not seem to be showing? I tried turning it off and back on again in the settings etc

I've tried googling for a solution, but can't seem to find any threads about the issue that actually propose a solution.

What controller are you using.

That is an Option that needs to be activated. Look in the Settings menu in the Gameplay section. It's about half way down.

edit: I'm sorry, are you saying you already did what I just said, and it's still not working?

Ojisan: I am. Although, now it has started appearing, but only intermittantly. I can't seem to narrow down any reason for it showing at some times and not others.

This Game works best (my opinion) with a Xbox 360 controller but I have used a PC generic PS3 style controller. However according to your recent post it seems as though it is a display issue. Try updating display drivers and verify local game files. Also was helping a friend with another problem with his game a found out he never shuts down or restarts his PC so do so if you don't.

... a display issue would affect *only* the button guide? Really? Cause everything else is working just fine.

(I imagine it does work best with a 360 controller, but I've never used an xbox in my life and have no interest in such :P The Giotek one, in my experience, works just fine for all games as long as I use x360ce)

Not meaning Display issue as in card problems maybe a background program running or an added mod.

I've tried restarting, same problem. I don't have any added mods.

Few things to try. If you are running in Big Picture mode try running it in the normal Steam app or vice versa. Try using just the keyboard without controller connected to see if it is a issue with that model of controller. Also try unistalling and reinstalling the controller drivers.
