Daggers:
Thousand Kisses (Hundred Kisses)
Shearing Wind (Cutting Wind)
Instant Reset
Instant Reset is especially important. No knockdown, no fall splat and most importantly immediate release from climbing. Climbing without IR is a pain.
Fivefold Flurry/pentad shot/Lyncean Sight for bow
Like dagger for mobility to easily climb monster and dodge. After climbing monster i change it to sword to use Dire Gouge also controlled fall is useful. Bow to recover stamina and use Lyncean Sight to shoot creature far away. Dagger and shield to safely approach a monster.

Do you find pentad useful?
How often do you find shearing wind useful?
I tried using gale harness instead of instant reset and it was really nice for awhile but i rarely get the opportunity to charge it up on some monsters.
I don't bother swapping weapons because of exactly the reason you specified, it was more of what skills do people think are more useful than others.
I never bothered with the shield as dodge typically lets me get close without any real issues anyway.
It basically makes you untargetable. You only get hit by lucky attacks if you run into them.
EDIT: Also the Spiderbite/Snakebite one for dagger. Against anything human-sized, it's basically a stun (locks the enemy in place during the animation), a chance to poison, and an automatic knockdown. Even works on liches/wights.
I agree with this for the most part. I normally run either daggers/shield or sword/shield and switch to a bow when ranged is needed. A shield is good to use for the skill Staredown which buffs your strength thus increasing your damage output. I find that Dire Gouge with a Devilsbane (end-game sword) does more damage than Hundred Kisses with Framae Blades (end-game daggers) when climbing on enemies. So basically use dagger to get around, shield to buff, sword to kill things you climb on and bow for those ranged situations.
