Fathom Deep - Avoiding an early end to campaign
Can I ask for some clarification from something regarding the post-game quests?
As I understand it, if you give Quinn the 20 wakestones, that's it for the game? You go to the ending, miss out on BBI (if you haven't gone there yet), all the extra post-game stuff in Gransys, etc.?

And there's pretty much no real warning?
How are you supposed to figure this out, if you don't check the wiki?

BBI wasn't present in the original game, and there's not really much in the post-game outside of the Everfall.

Quince does warn you.
The only thing I can think of outside the Everfall are Special Lesser Dragons, but that's it. Merchants keep their inventory in NG+, so you don't lose access.

Seems there are a lot of notice board stuff (Challenge in Frontier cavern, etc.), and many new drakes/wyverns/wyrms everywhere.

I'm just trying to avoid getting sucked into endgame before doing BBI, getting these encounters, and it appears you can explore Everfall, as long as you don't hand over those wakestones.

Is this correct?

Yes. I'd recommend to use the map[dragonsdogma.wikia.com] for the Everfall.
Though, you can start NG+ and go to BBI right after retrieving your pawn.

There are a few new monsters, one special dragon of each kind, and a few new notice board quests, yes.
