The Black Abbey

Currently I am farming the Black Abbey. Back in my xbox days I could simply respawn foes there by exiting and re-entering. However, this doesn't work on my PC save game. The respawn rates seem to be pretty random for me. I know this shouldn't be the case, but I also have no clue how this could have happened. I am only using ENB texture mods. Therefore I cannot have altered my save game. Did anyone acquire the same problems?

It happens to me when i have the fiend luring thing in my inventory, according to the wiki you fight 3 rounds of enemies and they don't respawn anymore till you rest 3 or 4 days, but nothing respawns anymore for me after the first round. Works fine without the item, monsters respawn everytime when I leave

Ahh that could be my problem. Thank you, I will try that out later :)
