But most endgame gear have to be "farmed" in the Everfall or on BBI
But, the best gear drops in Everfall (2-5% drop rate, but you can use the godsbane exploit to get what you want). There are also 2 new vendors who show up in the Everfall chambers (use the wiki to get exact locations)
So he moved into my house.
but thanks guys, I'll just go hunting in the everfall then.
The forger also moves.
Because I dont remember seeing that many weapons on the wiki
It's possible that her inclinations make her prone to behavior which puts her in danger often, which would explain why she's constantly down.
For example, if you fight in melee a lot and she's set as "Guardian", she's going to be hanging around you too often and get the brunt of attacks with you.
You might want to make sure she's not a scather. I think challenger/utilatarian works well for support sorcerer. And, did you spend time in other vocations? Fighter/warrior/strider have good augments for a sorcerer to decrease incoming damage.
Also, one technique to get good gear (BBI lvl 1 equivalent), is to farm the chests in the Everfall. Do the wiki research to see where a good staff and robes, etc will drop, and go farm that chests with the godsbane exploit (save game, open chest, don't like what you get, godsbane kill self, try again, repeat till happy)
secondary is medicant
I went to the pawn guild and sat in the chair, it only let me change her secondary inclination
also, Im noticing a lot of gates around the everfall that have a symbol on their map location. Any way I can open these up? Or are they there for no reason?
If you want to really change a pawn's inclinations on a fundamental level, you need Elixirs. You can buy these for RC from Johnathan, an NPC in the Encampment who stands around the Riftstone there. You can use Elixirs to boost other inclinations so they take priority and basically "re-program" your pawn's behavior patterns.
As written above, Scather is a behavior pattern that provokes the pawn to engage in melee a lot or stand nearby enemies when casting, which can be detrimental to casters who use long-range spells with long casting times. It only works well if they exclusively use spells that have short casting times and low amounts of animation frame-locks. Since Sorcerers tend to use high-damage spells with long casting times, this inclination creates unfavorable situations for them. Challenger and Mitigator are more preferable to take priority over Scather. If your Arisen engages in melee a lot, Guardian should be set low and Pioneer is preferable. If you stay at a range yourself a lot while letting support pawns take the melee field, those two work well the other way around.
The locked gates all around the Everfall chambers? Those will never open, you can ignore them. I always figured they were placed all over the place like that to tease and frustrate the players.
