Vocations, I need some help understanding them
Do all the classes have to be picked at the beginning of the game or what do u do to get access to some of them? for example if Sorcerer isn't a starting class then how do I get it?

Be lvl10+ and pay 1000 discipline points in BBI (dlc location mentioned by guy above) or in Grand Soren Inn. There is no requirements other than lvl10.

"Trophy" is main quest which will give you access to Gran Soren (before it there is closed gate on the way, but you can go another route through mines).

You start the game pretty much with the default "fighter, mage, thief" option.
You are stuck with it until after you deliver the "trophy" to the Duke.

Head to the tavern in that city and you can change your vocation to any of the 9 classes.

Essentially, the first 3 are your basic classes ( Fighter, Strider and Mage)
the next 3 are the upgraded versions, (Warrior, Ranger and Sorcerer)
and the last 3 are weird hybrid type classes you can choose. (Mystic Knight, Assassin and Magick Archer.)

You can change between any of them at anytime (as long as you can access an Inn)
Some skills transfer over, while others do not.

You aren`t locked out of any vocations, so feel free to experiment.

Trophy? also thanks for telling me

Also, you don't have to reach Gran Soren to change your vocation. Instead, you can visit the pier in Cassardis at night to meet Olra, who will take you to Bitterblack Isle.

Now, fair warning - don't try to enter Bitterblack Isle dungeon! But Olra can change your vocation once you have reached the isle itself. You will still need to meet the level requirements of your new vocation.

yes, for most people. You can in fact move the save file away from the folder to do a different character but then you will need to manage swapping save files whenever you want to play either.

Ah geez that's so obnoxious, ty for that info though
