Spell Aiming?????????
I see no options to turn of auto targeting for spells (keyboard & mouse) nor anything to manually aim. Where are those options & if none how do you do that?????

Spell aiming goes for the person closest to the center of your screen, with slightly sticky aim lock. To switch targets, look away from the character it's on until it switches to the next target.

ok thx. Well that makes playing as a mage unnecessarily awkward. Sigh too late to get $ back. Oh well at least got it on sale.

There isn't really any need to manually aim the spells that have auto lock on. Maybe in rare situations where you have a dozen enemies and you want to single out somebody, but that's almost never going to happen. And the AOE spells do have free aiming.

You can manually aim spells though? am I misunderstanding the question?

Can you manually aim something like Ingle? I never felt I needed to so I never bothered to figure out if you could. Lock on is good enough.

Yeah on controller even when charging the skill - press left stick down and you can manually aim. I usually use it for harpies and other flying creatures. You can even do the skills you wouldn't think like the shock one.

On Controller it is one of the L3 when charging a spell. I used it a lot for spells like Healing Spells that don't Auto Target the Player or some forms of sniping.

Sadly I don't use KBM for this game, so I can't tell you the exact Keybinding would be.

There's also an input to "LOCK" lock on target

Basically ensures all hits of a multihit spell aim at one specific enemy or body part on a monster

The visual is the recticle focusing and getting smaller and the white dot brighter from what i remember.

Try the shift-key. Some spells don't have atuo-target, that is comestion (asfar as I know, I don't realy use that spell) and definitly Anykome and upgrade.
Only Ingle and Upgrade and Gicel and UPgrad are targetabe vertically, however. All other spells are aimed at the ground or don't have aiming at all. (lLike Bolide and upgrade for tha latter. Seisme also, afair.)

Definitly: Try the shift-key. (you can also target to enchtant yourslef with that.)
