How do I increase Carrying Capacity?
I am running around the game picking up items, some i leave behind because they seem useless or like junk but I find myself weighted down almost constantly. Is there a way to increase Carry Cap? Is it based off the strength stat? Does it increase naturally as I level? Yes I do use the storage system at the inns in the game and if things get truly bad I give items to my main pawn to hold. Still, I feel the carry capacity should be higher, tired of running slow and my stamina depleting too fast. Am I just screwed? Is there something I am missing here? Help me figure this out. I don't expect the carry cap to be as high as a Bethesda rpg but darn darn darn

Bigger Chars can carry more, make your Char weight 110KG for max carry capacity. If you change your Char Vocation to Warrior and bring it to level 5 you can take "SInew" to get additional carry weight.

I always use these three.

Fighter argumet :Sinew(Rank5) Increases the maximum weight and encumbrance thresholds by 20kg.

Strider argument:Leg-Strength(Rank9) Decreases the effective encumbrance rank by one.

Argument that prevents stamina from decreasing even when running
BBI LV3.novelty:Athleticism "Reduces Stamina consumed whilst running."

Ah good to know. My Arisen character is a woman who was originally a Strider, but switched her to Warrior a few days ago. I shall get "Sinew" when I can, tho probably too late to change her Weight by now, eh? She is definitely not huge.

So for Sinew, is it Fighter or Warrior?

Buy the Art of Metamorphosis and Secret of Metamorphosis from Jonathan at the camp.

It can be learned at rank 5 of Fighter.
I think it's written above...

Well one person said Fighter and the other said Warrior, so just clarifying.

I think this is a mistake made by fighters, not warriors.

Upgrading your armor lowers its weight too.

Rather than [just] increasing your carrying capacity think about managing your encumbrance better:
- give excess items to Pawns (duh)
- put items you won't be using during travels (resources, excess equipment and tools, etc) to storage. You can use hired Pawns for that: hire offline Pawn, eg Rook, load it with excess stuff and toss to the sea.
- you can also use Combining to create more potent items that will suffice in lower quantities or to game the system - there are items combinations where the ingredients weight less than the end result eg
Flask of Oil 0,27kg=Oil Arrow 0,01kg + Empty Flask 0,12kg
Blast Arrow x10 2,7kg= Beech Branch 0,66kg+Throwblast 0,27kg
- regarding special arrows, there are skills that hit multiple times with a single arrow so you can carry less arrows.
- and generally you could carry less Curatives if you have resistances in place and are able to to away combat without them - use core skills to when low on Stamina, be resourceful to avoid getting hit
- you can also find lots of Curatives in the game world.on enemies so no need to carry them around, eg Saurian tail is a great Stamina curative and a common drop from severed Saurian tails.
- last but not least, you can reduce the weight of equipment by enhancing it, like the person above said.
