How on earth could an easy command such as "Come here" "Go there" or "Need Help",
be missunderstood by those dapn stu tupid PAWNS ?
They will never respond, I want to fight as a 2H Sword fighter,
enter the Boss Arena on BiBi have a top geared strider Beach and a Sorcerer Beach.
"Attack" -->
"I cant obey right now"

useless counts..
How am i supoosed to take out the Lich hovering next over the Ice Dragon ?

Thanks btw to the community who create Pawns with only 1 skill equiped and no Gear at all.

I would play smtg else but my GPU is dying so i cant play anything else right now.
Ah well yes, this Donald Duck made Nvidia GPU´s 4 times more expensive by his genues tarrifs on the only Country producing Computer hardware, very smart guy..

You cannot change the inclinations of rented pawns so be careful to select pawns that have inclinations that promote what skill you want it to use. Inclinations like aquis, medicant and pioneer do not encourage a pawn to attack. Scather, mitigator and challenger encourage a pawn to attack. DO NOT use pawns with the Guardian inclination unless you want them to stick to you like glue and no do anything until a bad guy wacks you. There is a distance factor meaning you can see and engage a foe from further away than the pawns can (move closer before issuing the command). Frequent use of the commands encourages the guardian inclination to creep up so try not to use them. Stick your own pawn in the chair and answer it's questions. Tell it to respond aggressively to your commands. Selecting Inclinations that tell a pawn to react in opposite ways ( like scather/guardian or scather/mitigator) confuse a pawn, sometimes resulting in it standing there doing nothing.
Think of inclinations as being a pawns standard marching orders. Primary = do this first and when you're done with that (or if you can't do that) then do what the secondary inclination says next. This is a bit of an oversimplified explanation of pawn behavior but it's worth (IMO) keeping in mind when you assign inclinations to your pawn or when selecting pawns to rent.

Ha. I pretty much never used orders. I tried to use them to get pawns away from Daimon suction in maybe one battle, after that I just started breaking the suction attack instead.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

its the pawns inclination as said by 'woodyplank'.. these inclinations determine pawn behavior under specific commands & conditions.

Started so far 2 more runs, first was unplayable after the NPC at the camp die from an explosive barrel, some genius placed 2 barrels next to his face on a shelf.
Yes, its this 3 question thing wich makes a pawns personality.
But evan a max aggresive pawn will never attack ranged attackers, maybe should create a strider pawn my self instead trust those Rift pawns, and hire a Tank pawn instead.

NPC's that didn't plot die will respawn after a week of game days, so it can't be unplayable even if you killed some key NPC. Pawns Can attack from range, mine did, but I'd rather not depend on them when at all possible.

I just wanted to add that I find it incredibly funny that OP has nearly 2k hours into the game and still hasn't made peace with the jank

lol when I have 229 Steam hours and am completely done with the whole game max level, done BBI runs with every vocation(not online, wasn't interested).
Im dong tests, and let the pc running while sleeping or atching youtube or doing anything else so hours are not real paytime. Anyway, did so far at least 35 1-32 runs without visiting Grand soren 1 time so far. Only BBi and Fire Drake area, just for fun.

Actualy, you can change rented pawns inclination. And their skills/augments too. With this tool: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/96

Also, some inclinations work in pair. For example: high value of Pioneer and Scatter encourage pawns to climb up bosses.
