The menu song ist just...bad

I remember the menu songs of Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Witcher, Divinity and Gothic. They give me goosebumps and drag me into the respective fantasy world. But the Dragons Dogma menu song is just bad and annoying. It is just me?

The song is not bad, it's actually pretty awesome. Just the menu got only a scrap of it, which is in no way representative of the whole, mixed with the dull theme from one of the grindiest places in the game - which may bring bad memories.

It's better IMO than the one we have now however you could always just convert any song you want to ogg format and edit the stq file in the title.arc etc etc

I literally couldn't disagree more. Eternal Return is one of the best menu themes in gaming imo. Fits the game perfectly too.

I literally CAN'T understand the menu song. All I hear is "blah blah blah de blah" then ear-piercing screams. So I haven't the foggiest idea what the lyrics are saying. But in terms of tone, it fits the story, but it doesn't really fit the game, because the story itself doesn't really fit the game.

Overall, alot of the songs are decent but oftentimes too short and there's too much quiet in the game. Music is one of the things I feel is improved in BBI, both the songs themselves and how much I get to hear of it (at least until fights get quick).

I made Coils of Light my menu theme. The Dark Arisen theme fits good for the title and I love it.
