help, ogres!
I just don't know how to deal with these guys. I'm level 18, and I can barely dent them. I know that their weak spot is there head, but even still the damage sucks. Halp

The one in everfall, probably 15, but a mage or sorcerer with fire and lightning helped.

The two in the mining cave, I may have been 25

Try using an upgraded rusted weapon, preferably a bow. This will inflict torpor on them which makes them maybe like half as fast.

The first orge I encountered in Everfall ... made a huge jumping kick at one of my pawns and missed, falling off the edge to death. It was a LOL moment for me.

And free 5,000 exp.

Thats how I'm running my assassin, with just the rusted shield equiped, I am enducing torpor
It's me... Jan 31, 2016 @ 8:32pm
Bring a female Pawn with you if you play a male character Ogre's go insane when a female is nearby thus making them ultra vulnerable. Wait for them to grab someone, possibly the female character in your party since they will be focused on her and it will take massive damage during its vulnerable grab phase.

This, rusted secondary weapons require very easy to find or buyable materials, topor is amaizing.

For magic, maelstrom works wonderfully on all form of orges. Cast it before it notices you from afar and send in melee pawns to finish it off.

where you fighting them? if you see any explosives around, throw it. throwblasts also work well.

Please tell me you didn't also fall into the trap of starting on Hard and trying to do the quarry quest as early as possible. Damn ogres were one-shotting me.

Aside from that, you just have to be patient, and very, very careful. The one in the Everfall is quite easy to trick into falling to its death. Hell, it regularly does that even when I don't want it to. In the quarry, just keep your distance and keep sniping it. And don't let it notice you before you attack it for the first time. The one in the circular room with the pillar in the middle has explosive barrels lying around, throw them at it and it'll go down fast. The others, just keep sniping. If you're a fighter or warrior, go level up more if it's the ones in the quarry.

Get some female pawns, Ogres would focus on female unless your arisen is a female. Then change class to fighter. Then change some of your pawn consisting to male so that it could provide. You do know changing class gives you there augment and stats. Blocking in this game is forgiving.

Also what class are you playing???

Usually when you encounter an ogre you can find fire barrels nearby. Toss a few at him to make him rethink his womanizing ways.
