Thunderwyvern Respawn?

Does the Thunderwyvern in Bluemoon Tower respawn? I need its horns to Rarefy my Dragon Forged Dragon's Rancor. However, when I killed it I didn't get any Thunderwyvern Horns (just Dragon Horn).

Thunderwyvern horns are only dropped from Thunderwyverns which are an upgraded version of Wyverns. You'll only find these post Daimon in BBI.

I know, and there's a Thunderwyvern to be found in Bluemoon Tower. I killed it, wanted to know whether it respawns.

Only a regular Wyvern spawns in Bluemoon tower which takes 7 days - i think. Do you mean Duskmoon tower? It does respawn, however it alternates with a Firedrake. Thunderwyverns have other spawns. Rotundra of Dread, Sparyard of Scant Mercy and Fallen City - which can have two. I may be missing other spawns.

No, Bluemoon Tower. As in not Bitterblack Isle. It's found there Post-Game.

Thunderwyverns don't spawn outside BBI (outside of the quest a Royal Decree 1). Regular Wyverns don't drop Thunderwyvern horns.

Ok i'm confused on this too. I remember fighting a wyvern in bluemoon tower post-game that used the windbreath -> thunderwyvern.

Duskmoon tower in BBI though also has one, but much tougher. I guess you must kill the BBI version to get the horn?

The quest is a billboard quest, meaning that it shall spawn regardless of whether you have taken the quest or not in BMT.

No, Bluemoon Tower. As in not Bitterblack Isle. It's found there Post-Game.

I need 3, so I was hoping to be able to farm that BMT Thunderwyvern, because Daimon is too diffifcult for me to defeat currently (hence why I'm trying to upgrade my weapons).

However, I am Level 63, and an Assassin.

the wyvern in bluemoon is a special wyvern but not a Thunderwyvern. There is a quest however from one of the request boards in BBI that has you kill a thunderwyvern in Bluemoon Tower, that spawn is only for that quest however. You can fight Thunderwyverns in post-Daimon BBI though.

There's drakes, wyverns and wyrms.

In BBI there's Firedrakes, Thunderwyverns and Frostwyrms. These spawn ONLY in BBI. Every dragonic species encountered in gransys is a normal version.

Better check your own link. The wiki also notes that the Wyvern in Bluemoon tower is considered a Special Wyvern (Not a thunderwyvern, but has more hp than normal wyverns and has special dialogue).

Also the Quest By Royal Decree I replaces him with a Thunderwyvern.
