Most likely its a bad equalizer setting, though.

Shame the fight doesn't match the pace of the music though. It's a real damn good battle theme once it gets going. At least the intro part matches the scale of the boss arena though, taking in all that eye.
Love the Gazer, just wish he was much beefier, he needs to be at least 10 times stronger post Damon, otherwise he gets wrecked so quickly, even at sub lv100.
Dragon's Dogma OST: 1-41 Bluemoon Tower
Yeah--once you figure out his tactics, he's easy. It's a long and drawn out battle if you don't, though.
A kind soul somewhere in the discussions mentioned killing him at level 4 with throwblasts. I did some digging around and found out throwblasts do 5.5x your base Strength, and Coinpurses do 14x your base strength. There's damage cap in place (Coinpurse can't kill the Gazer in one shot, at least not for me at 916 Strength) but it is indeed totally possible to slay him with throwblasts that early. Really a weak boss for the music he gets, lol.
I wish all Bitterblack bosses had multiple forms per fight, and also gained "Awakened" forms after Post-Daimon. I'd especially like it if the Gazer had that trait from the Destroyer at the end of Borderlands 1, where it's giant eye slowly followed you around no matter where you went...that was creepy. Instead it just kinda turns its whole form towards who its attack and it's eye stays frozen in place, somewhat. :x
Anyway, MUSIC THREAD, I'll get back on track :P
Danger At Dawn ~Hydra Battle~.mp3

I really like this one too, mostly because fighting the Hydra is such a rare occurence. The way the music seems to jump at points can sync extremely well with the sudden strikes from its head and the way it suddenly moves...mostly though it's a nice fight, unique and even at level 200 still dangerous, lol. I remember once me and my main pawn both got eaten at once and I had to watch us get digested for like 60 seconds before the game realised we were in fact, screwed.
This games soundtrack overall is great.
I dragged out Daimon 2nd form fights to listen to his boss theme during game. :p
