Favourite Music Track(s)?
The purpose of this topic is pretty simple, what's your favourite music track from the game itself? You can list multiples if you can't decide.

My personal favourite is the Bitterblack Isle.

No, not any of the dungeon themes, boss themes or anything like that, just, the theme of the island as you walk around in the sort of hub, there's just something about the wordless singing that's both haunting and beautiful.

Honestly I much prefer the music in the main game. I have a sort of love hate relationship with BBI and the music suffers for it :p

Short as it is, I prefer the tune that plays when you go outside at night.

Well, unfortunately I can't link Bitterblack Isle's music due to it just not being on youtube for whatever reason, though you should be easily able to find/hear it by either going into the soundtrack DLC, or just go straight to BBI.

Anyways I also found yet another tune I like: Fallen City.

Yeah, I like the somewhat subdued tracks.

Death Battle Music (Pitch Black Pursuer) is pretty awesome.
The eerie song you mention also is great.
"The fallen city" is also so eerie.
One could easily miss the brilliancy of the standard cyclops battle music "one eyed giant". It deserves to be listened to outside of the game.

But my personal favorite is "25. In the Crucible where Droplets Gather, I Wait" It begins like any generic epic battle music, but then when it calms down (0:58), the singing gives me goose bumbs, also there is this iconic melody appearing sometimes. This piece is a masterwork, not only regarding this game.

One of the best any unique game soundtracks ever, and i have collected many.

None of the music stands out to me.

Shame they didnt pack Imminent Triumph into the soundtrack download.

My issue with the included soundtrack is that its lacking whatever audio filter that the game applies to it that makes it awesome sounding. So the soundtrack audio files just sound flat and lame with an awkward sound stage when listened to outside of the game.

I cant confirm that. The audiofiles sound exactly the same on my setup, even better with slightly adjusted equalizer. Which player do you use?

Media Player Classic, stereo headphones (Sennheiser HD 380) and Realtek sound device. I have the FLAC copy of the soundtrack.

I'll download the MP3 copy and see what it is like.

Don't forget to up the volume of the music too, a lot of the depth gets lost when the music goes too quiet.

It actually is in the soundtrack download, it's just called At The End of a Deadly Battle instead.

Nah and I just tried the MP3's and they have the same issue. I'm not entirely sure what it is, the easiest explanation is that the game is doing some post processing to the audio and that effect isn't included in the audio in either sound track DLC.

I like BBI music more than the original game music. In particular I like the condemned theme and the battle theme when you're underlevelled (Desperate Battle).
Heard the last one a lot on the first lv 40 try of BBI.
I like the music when one the hunter bosses, garm or elder ogre per example, appear in BBI. kinda looks like a terror game. meh they are not that hard to deal with though, but the first time it happened...
