Ambush: Quest Failed
When fighting drakes, they seem to have an overwhelming tendancy to randomly decide to fly straight up forever until the quest fails... :P

Managed to kill one out of four, the rest all decided to egress.

You don't get the time, they're up in the air and out of your vertical shooting range before you can lock anything on them. They shrug off your default shots, even to the heart. :(

When I'm up close and slashing away at the heart (when they are on the ground) they spin in circles a lot, but somehow most of the time they fail to actually hit me as long as I stay RIGHT UNDER THEM.

Anyways... pretty sure it's a bug, as I finally managed to grab onto one just as it jumped airborne, and despite me slashing away for about a full minute over the heart, it continued to rise up vertically without flinching at all till it hit the (assumedly) world ceiling, and I fell off to my death when my stamina finally ran out. I was able to do zero damage to it as it rose. :(

As for a good strategy that seems to work, when they take off, I'd back off and spam the heart with three stacks of Explosive Rivet, then a regular shot to the head or heart would usually drop it from the air, then everyone rushes in and hits the heart, triggering the explosives for a good bar and a half of damage, I'd deliver a Grand Scension to the heart point blank just before it got up. Lather, rinse, repeat. Would take 4-6 repeats to kill it.... if it didn't go into 'escape mode'.

Also, grimgoblins are apparently terribly vulnerable to Explosive Rivet, even if you don't trigger the explosives, in the Everfall it takes 6-10 full hits of Sixfold Shot to take one down if they have their guard up, but 1-2 Rivets can seemingly do the job just as well and seems to ignore their armor. Don't even need to splode them. :)

Post game, the two dragons near Gran Soren both glitches from time to time for me.
I usually save right before approaching it, if it glitches out i'll just godsbane and try again.

The Wyvern at the northern area after the bridge at times instead of circling around for a dive attack, flies right into the sea and gets trapped there. The Drake, if it strays too far off the area, tends to fly upwards, it sometimes also takes off and fly really quickly towards the direction of the mountain waycastle, then disappears :/
