New to DD: DA? Ok so no joke : Get 300,000 plus gold for free - Sell the Ruminator's Monocle
Like it says on the tin.

This is a peice of low level DLC trash headgear that will be easily surpassed. If you want a pre Gran Soren headpeice just use the headband for yourslef and the Jesters hat for your pawn (or indeed vice versa)

Once you have withdrawn it from the storage at the Inn sell it to the nice lady in the Village Armor shop. IIRC its worth 312,000 gold.

You are now basically set for a fair chunk of the early game. Between this and all the gold from quests and what you find while exploring you should have zero money issues.

Once Madeline opens her shop you can get a full set of half decent gear for yourself and your Pawn and materials dependant upgrade the entire lot to 3 star quality. You can also happily upgrade any hired Pawns as your purse and generosity dictates.

Job Done

Disclaimer - Yes I may indeed be telling you all how to suck eggs, but I have seen a fair few non Capcom pawns in the Rift sporting said underwhelming and yet oddly costly item.

But don't do this if you want to collect equipment because it will cost you over 900,000 to get another one. :p

I needed to make room in my storage so I sold everything I didn't need, including a ton of weapons. Got like 18M out of that deal xD

I also learned a new thing that I didn't previously know, which is that you can buy/sell items directly to/from your storage which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome.

Or, how about everyone stop using the DLC items, they look like crap.

Just change to Hard Mode and you get it again... then switch back to Normal if you want. Rinse/repeat and you got infinite money immediately.

Yeah, so you can basically:

1) Start Hard Mode
2) Switch to Normal Mode
3) Return to Step 1

Though I personally only noticed the stuff from reaching Gran Soren doubling up... so if only that stuff is doubling up then I guess there's a little bit of leg work involved in getting infinite items.
