This apply too enemy on BBI not just bosses
If you can't, you either have horrible gear or you're horrible at the game.
Protip: cleverness is the most OP power in the game.
If you are playing on hardmode and you not using 4x str charm you won't be able to beat daimon second form not on your first time not even level 200 either you die instantly from his black hole Attack or slowly dying
The Dungeon stops being in story mode and turns into "True Bitterblack" mode, where you'll see Death everywhere and without scripted encounters. The enemies you meet at the upper level will correspond with the new Bitterblack enemies for the most part, and the "carrion" level will be set to "deepest" setting, meaning that carrion monsters spawn at the same high rate at the start of the dungeon, to the bottom.
You'll begin meeting Dire Dragons, the Firedrake, Thunderwyvern and Frostwyrm, much stronger than vanilla versions. Enemy spawns will be replaced with more harder enemies, expect to face multiple Eliminators, Strigoi and Living Armour, especially as you go deeper.
Loot changes to the point where it's possible to get Level 3 items from chests that previous would have given a Level 2 item. Maneaters increase in amount and randomness, and can spawn in every single area now - but are still uncommon.
Garms can spawn in packs now, of up to 3, but there's now a chance that another 2 will spawn during the fight with the first pack.
Arenas change in difficulty, containing more enemies and bigger variety of difficult combinations - this can further be improved by using the Fiend Luring Essence.
In short, much of a Gransys tier enemies like Hydra, regular Cyclopse, Hobgoblins vanish, and get replaced with new, stronger versions. "Casual Journey for Casuals" is removed, and every step you take will punish you - in theory anyway. With Bitterblack weapons, nothing is an issue.
The biggest change is that Barroch stops roaming and will bunker down in the entrance for the rest of the game, so you don't need to look for him.
The second is you basically unlock the greatest farming method in the game, where you slay Daimon every five minutes for about 900,000 XP each time (with appropriate boosts) to gain rapid levels and Bitterblack Armour/Weaponry level 3.
It's ridiculously easy with ranger. I actually got bored from it so now I'm training as a warrior and will try to beat Daimon 1-on-1, no periapts.
Can I get a autograph from you?
Is there any trick for getting good weapons? I got one really good for my pawn in daimon, but my main still has the dragon vein...
Are you a strider? Or you mainly use dagger only on all other yellow vocation
I am leveling as an assassin, but I would call myself a strider, yes.
If dagger is a thing for you..
Use Conqueror's Periapt stack it 4 time and climb on the boss and start scarlet kisses but you will most likely die due to the fact you have not seen his body inflame yet because that's a one shot, you can slowly grind him away with this method with or without Conqueror's Periapt but you are risking on dying to his body inflame
Edit: also use reset to quicken to get off the boss before you get burned
Blast Arrows are the universal crutch for DDDA, when all else fails, you always have blast arrows.
