What do you mean ?..

Bitterblack Isle doesn't begin spawning its "new" monsters as commonly and visciously as you might think until you go beyond the first boss, the Gazer. It sticks to common high tier Gransys mobs. This leads to greater XP rewards and none of the filler that Gransys comprises of so very much.
The Wargs in the first chamber are pretty much the only real threat you'll face if you can take on a Drake before the Gazer. Gazer is easily killed at level 40-50, depending on the class you use - and as always, any boss falls to Conquerer/Demon Periapt spam.
Personally I would go to Bitterblack Isle as soon as you are level 10 and have switched to the Vocation you want, in order to get the Ring of Perserverance (+50% DP earned) and then go back and carry on the main quest a bit, until you can kill that Drake. Then, return to Bitterblack and go to the Duskmoon Tower, where the first arena is. There, you can kill Gransys bosses over and over to get a feel for how you are supposed to fight them, while gaining the XP and rewards enmasse which is helpful for later weapon enhancement.
Not to mention a few of the first Bitterblack Quests, three I believe, give 12,000 XP each and can be completed in the first hour there easily.
You'll level up fairly rapidly there, which has the downside of making Gransys a pushover, but the real fight is in Bitterblack Isle anyway. Once you kill the Gazer, you can meet some of the real denizens of Bitterblack and...the real challenge begins I suppose? You'll also be able to cheese-stunlock-kill Death when he first turns up for 420,000 XP or 840,000 XP with Weal, which is a serious exploit that skyrockets you up enough to easily take on the next boss, Dark Bishop.
From there it's childsplay. Unlock more farming methods, and Daimon's Awakened Form, easy enough to kill from level 120 onwards. Lower if you cheese blast arrows, I guess.
