i made a mistake at bandit camp (grimesome tome)...

hello :(

i was doing the quest to get salomet grimoire and was entering the bandit camp in the ruins..
unfortunately i did not know the bandits were non hostile so i killed a lot of people and their leader...so i got the tome but did i miss much by not having talked to the leader?
i loaded a very old save to see what i had missed and he gave me a quest ...:(

there are some people in the fort with names but nobody wants to talk to me obiously.

Do i miss much if i continue like that?
please no spoiler :( i don't mind missing a simple quest but if it has ramifications on some future quests it is not good :(

For the Grimoire just go to the tower at the back of the bandit camp go all the way to the top (You'll need to climb the wall at one point the stairs don't go all the way up) There's a chest at the top and the Grimoire is in that. It's in there always regardless of your quest progression. You can litterally just walk there and pick it up without even having the quest.

It only really changes one thing later on but I wont spoil what.

yeah i took the grimoire but now i see all these people in this fort and i'm questionning if i haven't screwed things up since i killed their leader :(

Nope. There is a side quest involving them but nothing major.

Don't bother losing a lot of progress just for an achievement. NG+ is for all those quests you'll miss and trust me, you will miss more than just this one.

Also, there is another semi-friendly bandit camp in this game. Listen to your pawns and take their advice.
